Plans change. From your schedule, you can cancel an upcoming lesson and, when your studio allows it, request a new time instead.
Open the cancel action on an upcoming lesson to start. Trio shows the lesson details and, based on your studio's cancellation policy, tells you what will happen:
Each outcome includes a short reason so you understand why. Tap Confirm Cancellation to go ahead, or Keep Lesson to back out. After confirming, Trio lets you know the lesson is canceled and, if applicable, that a makeup credit was added to your account.
When your studio enables rescheduling, an upcoming lesson also offers a reschedule action. Trio first shows the same policy outcome as a cancellation, then lets you pick a new open time. Choosing a new slot moves the lesson in one step - you do not have to cancel and rebook separately. If your studio does not offer rescheduling, you will only see the cancel option.
A makeup credit is earned when an eligible cancellation happens. You can see how many credits your family has available from the badge on your schedule. Credits can expire, so use them while they are active - Trio and your studio will remind you as an expiry date approaches.
When you book a replacement lesson, the confirmation step offers to apply an available makeup credit toward that booking. Turn it on to spend a credit on the new lesson.
