Earning Practice Badges

The Badges page shows every badge your child can earn, and the ones they already earned.
Where are badges?
On a computer, tap Badges at the top of the Practice page. On a phone, tap See all on the Recent badges card.
How badges are earned
Your child earns badges when they practice. The badge groups are:
- Streaks: practice days in a row.
- Weekly minutes: minutes in a 7-day window.
- Lifetime minutes: all practice minutes.
- Assignment done: assignment items finished.
- Pieces completed: pieces your child finished.
- Special: one-time badges.
When a practice log earns a badge, a celebration screen shows the new badge.
The Badges page
Each badge group is a card with the number earned out of the total, for example 3/8. Earned badges are bright. Locked badges are dimmed. At the top, a count shows how many badges your child earned in total.
The next badge
The Practice streak card on the Practice page shows the next badge within reach and how much is left to earn it.
More than one child
If you have 2 or more students, use the student menu at the top of the Badges page to change child. The page always opens on your first student. Each child has their own badges.
Badge alerts
Trio sends an alert when your child earns a badge. This is the Badge alerts topic under Practice in your notification settings. It is on unless you turn it off.
