Earning Practice Badges

Badges turn practice into something to look forward to. The Badges page shows the full collection your child can earn and celebrates how far they have come.

How badges are earned

Badges are earned simply by practicing. As your child logs sessions, builds streaks, and finishes pieces, badges unlock automatically across several families of achievements, such as:

  • Streaks - practicing several days in a row
  • Weekly minutes - minutes in a seven-day window
  • Lifetime minutes - all-time practice minutes
  • Assignment done and Pieces completed - finishing assigned work and mastering pieces
  • Special - one-off achievements

The badge gallery

Each family appears as a card showing how many badges are earned out of the total. Within a card, earned badges are bright and locked badges are dimmed, so it is easy to see what is unlocked and what is still ahead. A count at the top of the page shows how many badges your child has earned in total, and a friendly banner cheers on the next one.

Seeing the next badge

The practice home shows a hint about the next badge within reach. The badges page rounds out the picture by showing every badge in each family, so you can see exactly what to aim for next.

Switching between children

If you have more than one child at the studio, use the student selector at the top of the page to switch between them. Each child has their own badges and progress.
