The Practice page is your child's practice home - a single screen that celebrates progress and makes it easy to log a session. If you have more than one child, a switcher at the top lets you move between them.
Tap Log practice to open the quick log. Enter how the session went and save it - your minutes count toward this week's progress, your streak, and badges. When a piece is set as the current focus, the log can attach the session to it.
The streak card shows how many days in a row practice has happened, along with any streak freezes available. The card also hints at the next badge within reach to keep motivation up.
You do not use freezes yourself - Trio applies them automatically. If a practice day is missed while a streak is going and a freeze is available, Trio spends one freeze to cover that missed day and keep the streak alive. There is nothing to tap or redeem.
Each student receives 2 freezes at the start of every month. Unused monthly freezes expire at the end of that month, and your teacher can grant extra freezes. Tap the freezes chip on the streak card any time to see this explanation, including when the count is at zero.
A this-week card tracks practice over the current seven days against the goal, so you can see at a glance whether your child is on pace.
The today's focus area shows today's minutes, the current piece being worked on, and any assignment to focus on. Recent practice videos appear here too when they have been added, so you can look back at how a piece sounded.
Further down, a heatmap shows practice activity over recent weeks at a glance - busier days are easier to spot. Below that, a collapsed recent sessions list lets you expand and review the last month of logged practice.
Practice earns badges across several families of achievements. To browse them, open Earning Practice Badges or tap the Badges button on the practice home.
