The Engagement page answers one question: who needs a nudge this week? It brings practice, attendance, and family activity together for every active student, sorted so the students who most need attention are at the top.
To open the page, click the Practicing (last 7 days) tile on your dashboard. The sidebar has no link to it. Teachers see only the students they are the primary teacher for. Owners, admins, and staff see the whole studio.
Every student gets a Strong, Fair, or Low badge:
Three details:
The table lists Low first, then Fair, then Strong. Click a row to open that student's practice tab.
The Last 7 days / Last 30 days toggle changes only two columns: Min (practice minutes) and Attendance. The summary tiles, the badges, the row order, and the practice dots stay the same, because they use fixed windows. So a badge does not change when you change the range.
The Last active column shows when anyone in the family last used Trio - signing in or simply using the app while signed in both count. It reads Today, Yesterday, or N days ago.
Activity comes from sign-ins and app use, so it is not an exact "last seen" time. A family that signed in once can show as active for up to 14 days.
Four tiles summarize the roster, each on a fixed window: Practicing (last 7 days) (students who logged practice today or in the past 6 days), Went quiet (no practice in the last 7 days), Avg attendance (last 30 days), and Families active (families with a Trio account that used it within 14 days).
A student whose last practice was exactly 7 days ago is in neither of the first two tiles. They are not practicing in the last 7 days, and they have not gone quiet yet.
Below the tiles, two cards preview who needs attention: Went quiet lists quiet students with their last practice date, and Family inactive lists families past the 14-day threshold, most-stale first ("Never" first, then oldest). Each card shows up to 3 rows and hands the rest off to the table below.
