The dashboard is the page you land on after signing in. It is organized into four zones: Today, Needs you, Recently, and This month. The header greets you by name, shows the studio-local date, and summarizes how many lessons and follow-up items are waiting.
The Today zone starts with an Up next card for the next lesson still ahead of you. It shows the lesson time, student, instrument, duration, location or Virtual badge, and a Past due badge when the family's balance needs attention. If Trio has a useful note from the last lesson, the card shows a Working on snippet so you can walk in with context.
Use Open lesson to open the lesson details and live lesson surface, or Message family to start a message thread. When the teaching day is finished, the card changes to You're done for today.
The side panel lists the Rest of today. It shows remaining lessons in time order and inserts neutral Free - no lesson rows where there are gaps. When all of today's lessons are done, this panel rolls forward to the next day that has lessons.
The Needs you zone is Trio's action queue. Items are ranked most urgent first and link straight to the place where you can resolve them:
When the queue is empty, Trio shows a quiet all-caught-up message instead of an empty card.
The Recently zone is a short awareness feed backed by notifications. It highlights recent studio activity and links each row to the related page. Use Notifications for the full history. If there is nothing recent to show, the zone disappears.
The This month zone gives a compact pulse on the studio:
Owners and admins may also see a quiet Plan & usage line with the studio's plan, student count where relevant, AI credit usage, SMS usage, and a link to Plan & usage. Teachers and staff do not see plan usage.
