Teachers do more on their own, billing pauses start and end on set dates, and help articles are rewritten.
- Non-admin level teacher accounts can now onboard their own students and create events.
- Monthly invoices include group classes, billed per enrolled student for each class held.
- Owners and admins can pause a billing plan from a start date, with an optional resume date, in Billing, Enrollments. Paused days are not billed.
- Owners and admins can waive a late fee from the invoice actions menu, with a reason.
- Invoices show a Payment processing badge while a payment is still clearing.
- If a card payment is declined, Billing shows when Trio will try the card again and links to update it.

Lesson notes work better in studios with more than one teacher.
- Owners and admins see every teacher's lessons in Lesson Notes and can filter the list by teacher.
- A substitute can open and edit the note for a lesson they teach. A banner names the teacher who wrote it, and the note shows who last edited it and when.

Families see every practice video, and Trio can send payment reminders
Families can watch all of a student's practice videos with teacher comments, studios can turn on payment reminders, and your studio logo now appears on invoices.
- The Practice page in the member portal shows the latest practice videos, and View all opens every video with the teacher's comments.
- Owners and admins can turn on payment reminders in Billing, Automation to email families about unpaid invoices. Excludes families on autopay or that have opted out.

Messages get reactions and a cleaner look, plus pay-to-book improvements and more
Messages now work like the messaging app on your phone, and booking a paid lesson takes fewer steps.
- Messages keep one ongoing conversation per group of people, let you react to any message with an emoji, and keep the reply box pinned at the bottom of the conversation.
- On a phone, Messages runs edge to edge, Back sits in the conversation header next to the name, and the Messages header hides while a conversation is open. Start a new message from the list.
- Pay-to-book lets members confirm and pay in one step.
- The badge celebration shows the page behind it, softly blurred in your studio colour.
- Deactivating a student clears their upcoming lessons and billing plans, and the dialog shows what will be removed first.
- Magic Notes works on any open lesson note, however long ago the lesson finished.
- Owners and admins can choose how long cancelled lessons stay in subscribed calendars.

Finishing a lesson is now one clear step
Wrapping up a lesson note is simpler, you can assign practice for cancelled or missed lessons, and the note capture screen is easier to work in.
- Finish a lesson with one button, with a checkbox beside it to share your notes with the family when there is something to share.
- The practice list shows a Visible to family label, and a finished lesson shows clearly whether its notes were shared.

Automated billing, in-app refunds, and external calendars
Trio can now run your monthly invoices, refund a family from the invoice, and show busy times from your other calendars on your schedule.
- Automated monthly billing: Trio creates and sends invoices on the 1st. Per lesson plans can bill after lessons, a month ahead, or require payment to book. Everything is off by default; turn it on from Billing, Automation.
- Refund a paid invoice in full or in part, to the original card or as account credit. Staff can request a refund and an owner or admin approves it. Card refunds require Pro.
- Connect your Google, Outlook, or Apple calendar and its busy times appear on your Trio schedule. Trio reads busy times only and never shows event titles to anyone else. Requires Pro.
- Package balances now count scheduled lessons, so you see how many lessons are really left and get a warning before a package runs out.
- Trio MCP is now available to every owner and admin on Max. Connect your AI assistant from Settings, AI Connections.
- Hide or show connected calendars from the calendar view options. Busy blocks from colleagues now show their name.

Mobile lists, studio date format, and shorter text links
Lists switch to cards on a phone, dates follow your studio format everywhere, and links in text messages are shorter.
- Students, families, applications, invoices, fees, lending, support tickets, and the composition library now switch to cards on a narrow screen.

Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App Pay, and invoice categories
Bill a whole month on one statement, give families new ways to pay, and sort invoice income into categories.
- Generate a monthly statement per family: next month's tuition plus last month's lessons, fees, and forfeits on one invoice due on the 1st.
- Subscription charges now name the month they cover.
- Families can pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Cash App Pay where the studio has turned them on in Payments settings.
- Unpaid invoices in your billing list now have a Pay Now button.

Per-plan cancellation policies and multiple enrollments
Attach a cancellation policy to each billing plan, see what a cancellation will do before you confirm it, and enroll a student in more than one plan.
- Attach a cancellation policy to any billing plan. Trio reminds you if the studio has no default policy.
- Before you confirm a cancellation, Trio shows whether it creates a makeup credit or uses a prepaid package lesson.

Engagement page shows who needs a nudge
The new Engagement page shows practice, attendance, and family sign-in at a glance, and every family surface now has a Message button.

Fee assessment states, bulk invoice actions, and repeating date overrides
Recurring fees now show whether they are pending, assessed, or waived. Work through invoices in batches, and block out a whole date range in one dialog.
- Every fee assessment shows Pending, Assessed, or Waived. Generate Invoices and manual invoices pick up unbilled fees, and removing a fee line returns it to Pending.
- Waive a fee, mark it settled outside Trio, or unwaive it, with an optional reason.

- Date overrides have a Repeating mode: pick a date range and weekdays, and Trio creates every date, showing how many lessons are already booked.

Correct an invoice without starting over, edit enrollment dates, and generate invoices for a single family.
