Frequently asked questions
- Is the Free plan really free?
- Yes. The Free plan covers up to 10 students and includes scheduling, attendance, lesson notes, the parent portal, and basic messaging. No credit card required.
- What happens when I add more teachers or staff?
- Your first staff seat is included with Pro and Max. Each additional active staff seat (owner, admin, teacher, or staff role) is $5/month or $50/year and is billed only while the seat is active.
- What counts toward AI assistant and lesson-note quotas?
- Each successful AI request — asking the Trio assistant a question, or generating a lesson note from your raw input — counts as one operation. Quotas reset on the first of each month.
- Can I switch plans later?
- Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or switch between monthly and annual billing at any time from Settings → Subscription. Plan changes prorate automatically.
- Do you offer an annual discount?
- Yes. Paying annually saves about 17% compared to monthly billing on both Pro and Max.
- What if I need to cancel?
- Cancel any time from Settings → Subscription. Your studio drops back to the Free plan at the end of your billing period — no contracts, no cancellation fees.
- I run a larger studio — what about Enterprise?
- Schools, conservatories, and franchises with 15+ teachers or multiple locations should reach out via our Enterprise contact form. We'll scope migration, training, and custom pricing.
