My Profile

Your profile holds your own details in Trio: your name, photo, phone number, and bio. Open it from My Profile.
The page has four cards: Profile Photo, Personal Information, Notification Preferences, and Faster sign-in. The Save Profile button at the bottom saves your name, display name, and bio. A new photo or phone number saves at once.
Profile Photo
The Profile Photo card shows your photo, or your initials if you have no photo. Click the camera icon on the photo to open a menu:
- Choose File - upload a JPEG, PNG, or WebP image up to 5 MB
- Take Photo - take a new photo with your device camera, when one is available
- Remove Photo - remove your current photo
After you choose or take a photo, crop it and click Upload. Your photo shows in the user menu at the top of the page and where Trio shows you to families and staff.
Personal Information
The Personal Information card holds:
- First Name (required) and Last Name
- Display Name - an optional name to use in place of your first and last name. Trio shows it in your greeting, the user menu, messages, and events. Lessons, the calendar, and booking show your first and last name.
- Phone - Trio checks your number with a text, so you can sign in with it. Use Add phone number or Change phone number to verify a number.
- Email - you cannot change it on this page
- Bio - a short note about you for your studio's records. Owners and admins see it when they edit your details on the Team tab.
When you change a name or the bio, Save Profile turns on. Click it to save.
Verify Your Phone Number
Your phone number is a way to sign in, so Trio checks it with a text message. Click Add phone number (or Change phone number) to open the dialog:
- Enter a US phone number and click Send code.
- Trio texts you a 6-digit code. Type it in the dialog.
- Click Verify. Click Resend code if the text does not arrive.
When the check is done, the number shows Verified by SMS. A number that is already on another account is refused with "This number is associated with another account."
Notification Preferences
The Notification Preferences card has an Open button. It opens your notification settings, where you control push notifications, email, and SMS for your own account. These are your own choices, separate from the studio settings.
Faster sign-in
The Faster sign-in card lets you add a passkey. A passkey lets you sign in with your fingerprint, face (such as Face ID), or device PIN. You can always still sign in with a magic link or a text code.
