Your availability tells Trio when you are free to teach. It powers conflict warnings when you schedule lessons and controls which times parents can self-book from the member portal. Open it at Availability.
The page has three stacked sections:
The page header reads "Set your weekly schedule and date-specific overrides." If you are an owner or admin editing another teacher's availability, the header instead reads "Editing availability for [Name]".
Set Max per day and Max per week to cap how many lessons families can self-book. Leave a field blank for unlimited, then click Save Limits. These limits apply only to parent self-booking - you can still create lessons manually above the caps.
The Weekly Template lists all seven days. Each day shows its current time slots, or "Not available" if none are set. The card header also shows your total scheduled hours per week.
To add hours, click Add on a day. The Add Availability dialog opens with a Day of Week, Start Time, and End Time. Choose your hours and click Save. End time must be after start time.
To change a slot, click its time range to reopen the dialog as Edit Availability. To remove a slot, click the small × next to it and confirm. Slots repeat every week until you change them.
Click Add Override in the Date Overrides card. The dialog opens on One date and has a Repeating tab for stretches of time.
Use Repeating when a change covers a stretch of the calendar, such as reduced summer hours or no Fridays in December. Pick a Start Date and End Date, choose the weekdays under Repeat On, then set availability, hours, and reason exactly as you would for a single date. One time range applies to every weekday you select, so if you want different hours on different days, create one repeating override per pattern.
Clicking Continue shows a summary before anything is saved: how many dates will be added, how many were skipped because they already have an override, and how many lessons you already have booked inside the range. Saving does not cancel or move those lessons. Rescheduling stays up to you.
Dates that already have an override are left alone, so a one-off you added by hand is never overwritten by a repeating pattern.
The list shows today's and future overrides with their status, hours, and reason. A repeating override appears as a single summary row (its date span, the weekdays, and the number of dates) with Show dates to expand it. Use Delete all to remove the whole set, or Delete on an individual date to remove just that one. The summary re-counts itself from the dates that remain. To change a repeating override, delete it and create a new one.
Owners and admins can edit any teacher's availability. The easiest path is from Studio Settings → Team, then opening the teacher you want - Trio loads their availability and shows their name in the page header.
